In the textbox below I make a connection to AssemblyAI's WebSocket API for real-time streaming transcription. A websocket is a two-way communication a channel that allows for the continuous exchange in information between the client and server; so in practice, as you click the record button and begin speaking, your speech will be transcribed in real-time (allowing a small delay for transit time, of course!) and shown back to you in the white space. Optionally, you can save it to the message board by clicking on the blue button. Try it out and leave me a message! As a quick suggestion, give it a second before speaking as well as when you're finished speaking--you'll see it perform some automatic punctuation and casing. Enjoy!
